A dental impression by a machine is a digital version of a dental impression that is created using a 3D scanner. The scanner captures the contours of the teeth and gums, as well as the underlying bone structure, and creates a 3D model of the teeth and gums. This model can be used to create restorations, such as crowns or bridges, that are custom-made to fit the individual's teeth and gums. Dental impressions made using machines are usually more precise and accurate than traditional impressions, which are made by hand.
